Sony is bound to release another smartphone from its Xperia C series. There have been leaked images of the Sony Xperia C6 ahead of its launch hinting that the device won't be having side bezels.

According to Christian Today, Sony Mobile did not announce any smartphones at the recently finished Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2016. But this does not mean that the Japanese tech manufacturer won't be releasing one early this year. As a matter of fact if the recent supposed leaks are proven accurate, then the next big event, the Mobile World Congress next month, will have the company's patrons to see a new Sony Mobile flagship iteration which is the Xperia C6.

Android Headlines stated on its article that based on the provided leaked images, tech enthusiasts will be able to see the alleged Xperia C6 (Ultra) in the flesh. This handset is believed to succeed the Xperia C5 Ultra which arrived back in August. The device was pictured in a Rose Gold color and without bezels on the sides. Only the metallic frame is present there, and the 2.5D curved glass is most likely to be placed on top of the display.

Meanwhile, International Business Times cited other specs and features that are most likely to be present on the Sony Xperia C6.

The upcoming handset from Sony is small in built indicating that it can be operated with just one hand. The device's screen-size will be around 5.5-inch or less, not 6.0-inch like is seen in C5 Ultra. It is still not confirmed, however, if the device has full HD (1920x1080p) or HD (720x1280p).

Additionally, the presence of circular solid metal key on the side showed that Xperia C6 will not be featuring finger-print sensor on the home button like the flagship Xperia Z5 series. The old lineup  is noted to be armed with a long rectangular button with finger-impression engravings on it. There are also talks saying that the Xperia C6 will feature MediaTek made Helio P10 Octa-core SoC (System on Chip). Other key details such as display resolution, camera, Android OS version, RAM, Storage and battery capacity are yet to be confirmed.

Japanese tech giant Sony hasn't uttered any word yet about the Sony Xperia C6. But  this upcoming handset is expected to debut on the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2016 which will be held in Barcelona.
