The spate of roll outs of Android 6.0 Marshmallow has brought a squeeze anew to Samsung to be the only mobile phone manufacturer to have been left out of the bandwagon. However, hopes up for Galaxy Note Edge users as the device is confirmed to hit the upgrade any time this quarter.

Galaxy Note Edge units of AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, US Cellular and Verizon Wireless are officially getting the Android 6.0 Marshmallow in the first quarter of the year and most likely, as reports pointed, the date might fall in January.

All major mobile carriers the United States have already agreed to support the official roll out of the new build to their respective units of Galaxy Note 4.

AT&T

AT&T has been reported earlier this week that its versions of the Galaxy Note 4 smartphone has been undergoing the Marshmallow tests since December 2015. However, the carrier has not officially commented about the speculations, thus, bringing consumers to a blank state.

Galaxy Note Edge of AT&T is currently running on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.

Sprint

Sprint has been making noise these days as it is the first carrier to have rolled out Marshmallow to some of its devices, including LG Stylo and LG G4. There should be no surprise if the carrier will release the same update to Galaxy Note Edge ahead of its competitors.

Galaxy Note Edge of Sprint is currently running on Android 5.0.1 Lollipop.

T-Mobile

For some, T-Mobile has been the most generous of all carriers as it let out a list of the status of their devices on the Marshmallow snafu. Per list on its support page, Galaxy Note Edge of the carrier is still stuck in the first stage since it was revealed back in October 2015.

Galaxy Note Edge of T-Mobile just took a step further with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.

US Cellular

US Cellular is painstakingly taking child step with steps but it never is the least. The carrier has been lauded for producing major updates first to its mid-range devices.

However, Galaxy Note Edge units of the carrier are still stuck in Android 5.0.1 Lollipop.

Verizon

Verizon has released the final Lollipop version to Galaxy Note Edge late in November. It is expected to release Marshmallow to the device in February 2016 if it will follow its three-month cycle.
