Former Police Lt. John Pike who used pepper spray on U.C. Davis students protesting a tuition hike, was recently awarded more than $38,000 in workers compensation for "suffering he experienced after the [2011] incident."
Sergeant First Class Amos Patton reportedly shot two soldiers outside a armory near the the Naval Support Activity Mid-South facility in Millington Tennessee, which is north of Memphis on Thursday afternoon. The two victims are being treated for life-threatening injuries at a Memphis hospital, according to Millington Police Chief Rita Stanback.
A Colorado court on Friday released previously sealed grand-jury court documents, showing that in 1999 they voted indict the parents of murdered 6-year-old JonBenet Ramsey on child abuse charges, which resulted in death as well as being accessories to a crime. The documents did not include specifics, as the almost two decade old murder case remains unsolved.
