‘American Horror Story’ Season 7 Will Cover Trump-Clinton Election – Ryan Murphy

Ryan Murphy hinted on a possible plot of “American Horror Story” Season 7, which can be loosely based on the recent Trump-Clinton election. As the next round of scare has been confirmed to allude to the national election, anticipating viewers are left wondering if President Donald Trump might appear in it.

“It’s very scary and very fun and very topical,” Murphy said to E! News, pertaining to “American Horror Story” Season 7. While the upcoming season has no title yet, Murphy teased that it will be interesting for a lot of people.

“The season we begin shooting in June is going to be about the election that we just went through,” Murphy added. Considering that “American Horror Story” inclined on abstract horror themes in its previous six seasons, people are intrigued about its approach on political narrative.

When asked whether there will be a Trump in the “American Horror Story” Season 7, Murphy teased “Maybe.” Fuelling people’s curiosity, it sparked the idea that the controversial figure will be playing an important role in the seventh season.

Following this news, it fuelled up speculations that Evan Peters might play Donald Trump and Sarah Paulson might play Hillary Clinton. While the confirmation that Peters and Paulson will star in the “American Horror Story” Season 7 did not consequently reveal the character they will be playing, it might likely to happen. Movie Pilot, however, differed that the stars might just play fictionalized politicians loosely based on Clinton and Trump.

Murphy refused to talk more about the seventh season of “American Horror Story,” but further confirmed that it will tell a modern story. Traditionally, new seasons of “American Horror Story” arrive during the first week of October, Season 7 will debut earlier this year. There is no official premiere date yet, but Murphy said that the horror drama could start around Labor Day.
