Updated Opera 43 To Bring Faster, More Enhanced Browsing Experience

By

Users of Opera 43 can look forward to a more pleasant browsing experience as it launches an updated version. Currently on beta, the new Opera 43 promises a faster loading speed and browsing.

As reported by Slash Gear, the updated version of Opera 43 is designed to decrease loading times and work together with current speed features such as native ad-blocking and optimized start up. The new Opera 43 will come with two main speed features. First is instant page loading.  With this feature, the browser will be able to determine the address you are typing and load that page before the user can even press Enter. For instance, when you type "nyt.com," the browser will know that you are searching for New York Times and will load the page in the background.

The second feature that will come with the new Opera is Profile Guided Optimization (PGO). PGO works best for Windows users because it can deliver faster operations. This technology is designed to optimize the most important parts of the browser. However, this feature is currently available only for Windows users. Opera will be launching PGO in the near future. With PGO, usage scenarios are tracked so they can perform with minimal CPU usage.

The website of Opera revealed that a third feature will also come with the latest version. Called classic link selection, the user can select text in an ink without a hyperlink. Classic link selection allows selection of portions of a link without activating it. Horizontal clicking and dragging copies a selection while vertical clicking and dragging will drag the link.

According to the website of Tech Frag, classic link collection can help in choosing links by sliding left or right. Copying the link by sliding up and down.  With this feature, sharing quotes can be much easier.
