CBS TV Series 2017: Shows To Look Forward To Including 'Hawaii Five-O' 'MacGyver' Mashup

The CBS TV series 2017 lineup is looking good this year with new shows coming up, including a mashup between "Hawaii Five-0" and "MacGyver" reboot. Fans will notice some familiar faces on the next episode of the "MacGyver" reboot.

According to TVLine, the upcoming March 10 episode of "MacGyver" will feature some stars that "Hawaii Five-0" fans will surely recognize. Alex O'Loughlin's Steve McGarett and Scott Caan's Danny Williams will soon appear on "MacGyver" as guest stars.

Of course they'll also be accompanied by their co-stars Daniel Dae Kim and Grace Park who'll reprise their roles as Chin Ho Kelly and Kono Kalakaua, respectively. Based on the CBS TV series 2017 episode synopsis, MacGyver and company will head over to Hawaii in order to lend their hand in a recent earthquake.

MacGyver eventually teams up with the "Hawaii Five-0 stars in order to rescue a group of scientists who are trapped in a collapsing building. Meanwhile, more CBS TV series 2017 will make their way on TV in the months to come.

This includes a new drama series "Doubt" starring "Grey's Anatomy" star Katherine Heigl and "Rescue Me" actor Steven Pasquale. The legal drama series views the court room from the perspective of the New York City defense attorneys, according to Cleveland.

Another CBS TV series 2017 title to look forward to is "Salvation." According to the TVSeriesFinale, "Salvation" is a suspense drama that features "The Golden Compass" actor Charlie Rowe and "The Strain" star Jacqueline Byers.

"Salvation" follows the story of Darius, a tech billionaire, who ends up hiring the services of an aspiring writer named Jillian. Darius hopes to come up with a solution to an imminent asteroid collision that's merely 6 months away.

Suspense drama "Salvation" is scheduled to air on CBS this summer. The CBS TV series 2017 line-up adds a lot of variety, from suspense to crime drama, that fits viewers of different tastes.
