NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Release Date news: NVIDIA Might Launch GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Soon

By

Nvidia is a company who has one of the largest reputations in all of the gaming community next to AMD, and while many console gamers won't be able to recall the name or its importance to the gaming world, a vast majority will know this name. This company is a juggernaught and a staple in bringing the immersion to our senses, and while they haven't made a huge impact in terms of VR gaming, they were the ones responsible for bringing immersion to us by producing some of the strongest and arguably better video cards and graphic processor units in the world. Now with the fresh start of 2017, Nvidia strikes again with news of the release of their latest and greatest video card, and it's sending PC gamers into fits of excitement.

While there have been news floating around about the possibility of Nvidia releasing a new video card, none of them could prove it to be true or authentic. PC Games, however, claims that they had released their first official confirmation by Linkedin, an interesting place to spread such news about something that hundreds of thousands have been waiting for. This graphics card appears to be the final piece to the puzzle before Nvidia pushes through with their next destination, the Volta architecture.

PCWorld claims that this is not really a surprise as Nvidia has a history of doing these sorts of upgrades. With the GTX 980 came the 980 Ti, and the same will follow with the 1080, their newest and strongest video card. They reason why they chose to not announce it at the CES 2017 was that the last time they did such an announcement was back in the 90's or at the start of the 00's.

Their reason for releasing the news on Linkedin is still unknown, but one of the reasons may be that it is a social media that is not particular mainstream or popular, so they can start telling people without having it blow out of proportion. That being said, the release of the video card will be putting many PC gamers into a state of excitement as it only means that their projects will just keep getting better and better.
