'Tangled: The Series' Coming To Disney Channel, Mandy Moore Reprises Her Role As Rapunzel

Mandy Moore is set to give voice to Rapunzel in the upcoming Disney Channel series "Tangled: The Series." It is reported that the plot will be between "Tangled" and "Tangled Ever After."

According to a report in Orlando Sentinel, "Tangled: The Series" will follow on the story of Rapunzel as she gets to know her parents more. She also gets to be familiar with her kingdom and to all the people of Corona.

Zachary Levi is Eugene in "Tangled: The Series" who is formerly known as Flynn Rider in "Tangled." Additionally, the new series is to include Pascal who is Rapunzel's sidekick. It also features Maximus the horse and the Snuggly Duckling Pub Thugs.

A report from AWN indicates that right after the Disney Channel Original Movie "Tangled Before Ever After" is the series. This original movie is to premiere on March 10 at 8 p.m. EST. Rapunzel now continues her journey as the princess.

"Tangled: The Series" is also to follow and will premiere on March 24 at 7:30 p.m. EST. Aside from Levi and Moore, Julie Bowen is also to join the series as Rapunzel's mother named Queen Ariana. Rapunzel's father, King Frederic is to be portrayed by Clancy Brown. Bowen is best known for the show "Modern Family" while Brown has been in the "Shawshank Redemption."

Meanwhile, a report from MTV indicates that Moore and Levi have been enjoying being Rapunzel and Eugene in "Tangled: The Series." Moore even hints that the series will focus more on Rapunzel's parents. There is to be more stories about the closeness of family in the series.

 The story explores also on Rapunzel's father and their relationship. Tangled: The Series shows how protective Rapunzel's father can be and her being in love with Eugene. It can be expected that the balance between family and love is to also be featured in the series.
