By

"Bates Motel" Season 5 is the final season of the series. Norman Bates (Freddie Highmore) is gradually turning into a psycho in the upcoming season.

Blasting News reports that Norman may die in the final season of "Bates Motel." It can be recalled that Norman had been left to live alone by the police. He convinced them that the death of his mother Norma Bates (Vera Farmiga) is a terrible accident.

After the investigation of Norma's death, Norman dug her up and glued her eyes to keep them open. In the previous seasons of "Bates Motel" it is known that Norman killed several people. It started when he was still a boy that he killed his father. Later on he also killed Ms. Watson (Keegan Connor Tracy), Bradley (Nicola Peltz) and the mother of Emma (Olivia Cooke).

According to a report in Slash Films, "Bates Motel" Season 5 starts two years after the finale episode of the fourth season. Norman is a grown man and lives his life alone. He pretends to be happy and is a well-adjusted member of their community in White Pine Bay. However, he struggles at home. His blackouts are getting worse as Norma tries to take over his mind completely.

In the meantime, Dylan Massett (Max Thierot) and Emma live a happy life unaware of Norma's death. They also are not aware that Norman is ultimately going into the verge of psychosis. Alex Romero (Nestor Carbonell) on the other hand is still in prison but is looking at taking on his revenge towards Norman because of Norma's death.

Meanwhile, a sneak peek of "Bates Motel" Season 5 is already out according to Entertainment. The final season of the series gives a glimpse of what Norman did to Norma's body. The sneak peek also tells of how the home of Norman looks after his mother's death.

"Bates Motel" is set to air on Feb. 20.
