Jessica Simpson Has Learned to Protect Her $175 Million Money if Divorced from Eric Johnson

A new issue of Star tabloid put a sensational headline on Eric Johnson and Jessica Simpson, which alleged the couple to be in the midst of a $175 million divorce. However, the singer has learned from her mistake in her first wedding.

In a new issue of Star tabloid, Eric Johnson was written to be caught with the sexy nanny. The tabloid also wrote another sensational sentence "Eyewitness: 'They disappeared into the bushes for two hours!'"

However, Gossip Cop reported that fuller quote inside the article paints a far less scandalous picture: "They disappeared into the bushes and then spent almost two hours hiking in the sun, while Ace rode on his father's shoulders."

In its cover, the tabloid also wrote that "$175 million divorce." That is the predicted amount of fortune earned by Jessica Simpson which Eric Johnson may try to have some of that money if they divorce. However, Jessica Simpson had learned a lesson in her first marriage with Nick Lachey, where she did not sign a prenuptial agreement which cost her a huge amount of money.

Following the wedding in 2002 with the member of boyband 98 Degrees, her career skyrocketed while Nick Lachey's singing career was declining. In 2005, the couple were separating and ended up in divorce a year later. Jessica Simpson must pay Nick Lachey $12 million in the divorce settlement for their combined earning.

Learning from the mistake, in her second marriage with Eric Johnson, the singer made an ironclad prenuptial agreement. In her marriage, as Hollywood Life reported, Jessica had no cute nannies policy. Indicating she is secured that her prenuptial agreement will protect her asset from ex husband who will turn into a gold digger.

Eric Johnson, a retired NFL player, married Jessica Simpson on July 5, 2014 after four years of engagement. They both have two children: daughter Maxwell Drew Johnson and son Ace Knute Johnson. Their daughter was born on May 1, 2012, while their son was born on June 30 the following year.

In his football career, Eric Johnson was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in the 2001 NFL Draft. As a tight end, Johnson had been a substantial player for the team scoring. In his third year, he led his team with 82 catches for 825 yards and two touchdowns. After ending his contract with the 49ers, he signed a one year contract with New Orleans Saints in 2007, and after his contract ended he concluded his football career.

Jessica Simpson and her family have long been portrayed as a happy family. Entertainment Tonight reported that Jessica adored their daughter who will turn 4 next month.

Although a new tabloid cover alleged them to be in the midst of a $175 million divorce, Jessica Simpson has learned from her mistake. She has prepared a prenuptial agreement which enables her to be in a secured position. The tabloid, however, was misleading the reader with the provocative cover.
