Jordan Linn Graham: Montana Woman Accused Of Deliberate Pushing 25-Year-Old Husband Off Cliff Agrees To Guilty Plea (Video)

By

22-year-old Jordan Linn Graham, the newlywed bride accused of deliberately pushing her husband 25-year-old Cody Johnson to his death in Montana' Glacier National Park, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder charges, The Associated Press reported.

The plea deal entailed that prosecutors would drop first-degree murder charges against her as well as making false statement. The judge in the trial is still deciding whether to accept the agreement, The AP also reported.

Johnson was reported missing on July 8, as "Graham initially said he left with friends the night before, but eventually told the FBI that Johnson died in a tragic accident during a heated argument," as reported by The AP.

Graham "did not take the witness stand to defend herself against the first degree murder charges, second degree murder and making false statements to authorities in the death of... Johnson," The AP also reported.

This past week, defense attorneys "showed jurors pictures and videos of Graham smiling and videos of the June 29 wedding and the couple's first dance," attempting "to chip away at the prosecution's image of Graham as a cold, dispassionate woman... " as also reported by The AP.

Jurors in the trial also heard from Sarah Bigelow, Graham's longtime employer. Graham worked as Bigelow's nanny for five years.

"She was always on time. She always took care of them very well. They love her," Bigelow testified.

After three-and-a-half days of testimony, jurors were to hear closing arguments on Thursday afternoon.
