George Zimmerman: Former Neighborhood Watchman Makes Court Appearance & Charged With Felony Aggravated Assault & Two Misdemeanors After Dispute With Girlfriend (Video)

Four months after he was acquitted of murdering 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, former neighborhood watchman George Zimmerman was back in court on Tuesday, charged with felony aggravated assault and two misdemeanors on allegations that he pointed a shotgun at his girlfriend on Monday, CNN reported.

Zimmerman's bail was set at $9,000 at his first court appearance. However the judge "put conditions on Zimmerman's bail: That he cannot return to two Florida addresses; he cannot have contact with the accuser; he cannot possess weapons; he must wear a monitoring device; and cannot travel outside Florida," CNN reported.

Zimmerman was arrested on Monday afternoon at the home of his girlfriend Samantha Scheibe in Apopka, Florida after she called 911, said Dennis Lemma, chief deputy with the Seminole County Sheriff's Office.

"Scheibe told deputies they had a verbal dispute, she asked Zimmerman to leave and he began packing his belongings, which included a shotgun and an AR assault rifle, according an arrest report. Zimmerman cocked the shotgun before he placed it in a single carry case, Scheibe told deputies," as reported by NBC 6.

"She began to carry out his other items and put them in the living room and outside. Zimmerman became upset and removed the shotgun from the case, and Scheibe told him she was calling police because she was nervous about why he pulled out the gun, the arrest report said," NBC6 also reported.

"Though Zimmerman said  the argument erupted after he tried to leave because Scheibe was pregnant and wanted to raise their child by herself, police say that Scheibe disputed the account," CNN also reported. Scheibe said that after an argument Zimmerman broke a table with a shotgun.

Zimmerman had told the dispatcher in his 911 call that Scheibe was pregnant with their children and that she decided that she would raise the child on her own. When he began to leave, she got mad.

The judge on Tuesday afternoon asked Zimmerman if he understood that "the reason for your arrest was that it was alleged that it has been alleged there was a domestic violence-related aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and a domestic violence-related battery and criminal mischief?"

"Yes sir... yes, Your Honor," Zimmerman replied.

"Did you receive a copy of the arrest report?"

"Yes, Your Honor," Zimmerman then said.

"I do find probable cause for all three allegations and for the arrest," the judge concluded.

Authorities said they are still investigating Monday's incident.
