International music star Meek Mill has been given a go signal in recording and releasing his new songs. The initial decision by a judge was for Mill to stop recording his new music while under house arrest.
Questions have circling around on whether Mill violated the conditions of his sentence after the 28-year old rapper did a remix of Drakes Summer Sixteen track. According to Music Times, other than the lack of mobility and general freedom. Mill's sentence has not stop him from continuing to give out music materials which might increase his punishment and perceivable violations.
As reported by Complex, the judge, however, has decided to allow the rapper to release his music in order to protect his own brand. Despite the judge's new decisions, Mill cannot make money out of his new tracks and should release them on free platforms such as SoundCloud and YouTube.
Mill's sentence required him to serve a minimum of three months house arrest for violating his parole which can be extended up to 12 months if the judge sees as appropriate. The latest decision regarding his records, however, is a breath of fresh air for the rapper as per the Daily Mail.
The House Party rapper was originally sentenced by Judge Genece Brinkley to a 6 months up to a year in county jail but allowed Mill to serve his sentence under house arrest. After the 6 months' probation period, Judge Brinkley which Mill called names in his previous songs will evaluate him and see if the house arrest should continue.
Mill can, however, leave the premise of his home only when he is serving his community together with a group of adults and not young people. This stage in Mill's life has been critical as he is battling his position in the music industry as well as keeping his fans. The controversial rapper had been in an altercation with artist Drake and 50 Cent in the past.
