Destiny 2's Third Delay Points to Possible 2017 Launch

By

Bungie's alleged Destiny 2 is yet to surface for those that await a much larger continuity to the series, and some believe that it certainly has been a long time coming. Over the number of months that the idea has surrounded the masses, the ultimate question remained seemingly unattended to by Bungie.

As per Yibada, the seemingly hopeless idea of Bungie's Destiny 2 has stayed on the dim side of the fans' expectations; with very little to no peeps at all about the game's entirety. Recently, some possible light may have been shed for the title and could be a sign that the title is indeed being worked on.

According to Ecumenical News, the closest that Destiny 2 has come to would be the game's utter announcement of coming into fruition, which was supposedly within 2015. Certain complications claimed that the title will be moved towards 2016 but will be further taken into 2017. Whichever the case may be for Bungie, the title is expected not to appear within the early half of 2016, as Bungie seemingly directs their focus unto the existing Destiny franchise.

After releasing Destiny: The Taken King, Bungie has not disclosed anything regarding the potential next title in the series. Previous reports delivered rumors that the Destiny 2 game will have a handful new attributes to be aware of. Such include the potential glow-in-the-dark type weapons, and perhaps some new suits to battle oppositions, but as the usual, the said details are still to be taken as a grain of salt.

Destiny 2 can now be marked for at least 2017 for its release date. For the meantime, gamers can direct their attention to the existing Destiny game whose combined playtime hours for over 25 million gamers has now reached 3 billion.

Keep posted for more Destiny 2 updates in the near future; and the potential success that the game can have as the months pass.
