Destiny 2 Possibly Out Late 2016 to 2017; Bungie's Original Title Reaches 25 Million Player Count

The supposed Destiny 2 is one more talk that Bungie seemingly has not been successful to evade. So far, the fans have been going around the web, searching for rumors regarding the game's existence; and whether the title will launch or not, gamers will continue to wait on what the developer will divulge.

According to Action Trip, fans of the Destiny franchise have tailed the game from the early going. Destiny: The Taken King went off to a rocky start, but managed to pull the game together even so. Now that fans are officially awaiting for a continuity, Destiny 2 seems to be the next big thing that those avid followers are eyeing next.

As per Parent Herald, rumors have surrounded the web talking about the possible release date of Destiny 2 being sometime late this year. Bungie was quick to thwart the issue aside, given the condition that another update for Destiny by April, namely the Destiny Update 2.2.0 and will be made available for free to those who have a copy of both Destiny and The Taken King.

Some have become more thorough with the speculations, spilling that since the original was released on September 9, 2014, the second title may arrive around the same time this year. That being said, Destiny 2 could be also come by September. Some believe, delivered by Ecumenical News, on the other hand, that 2016 is too early to call, and 2017 will be the year to mark for Destiny 2.

Bungie's original Destiny game was said to have reached over 25 million gamers playing a total of 3 billion playtime hours. Setting aside the success of Destiny: The Taken King, Bungie states that there is no affirmation yet of Destiny 2 spawning for the public yet.
