UFC 2: Khabib Nurmagomedov win pose concern resolved; Rogan, Northcutt, Aguilar now in roster

EA Sports' UFC 2 is now fully functional, and with so much features to look out for, the title is cordially on a roll. However, there may be a few minor factors that could potentially cause the company trouble if unresolved, and the recent one was something that required immediate rectification.

Attack of the Fan Boy noted recently that UFC 2 tolerated the awesome fantasy inclusions that gamers have always wanted for the game namely, Mike Tyson and Brue Lee. As both athletes are quite iconic on their own distinct rights, one mixed martial artist reached out his concern over the accuracy that the game seemingly fell short on.

According to PlayStation Lifestyle, Muslim UFC fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov brought up an issue regarding his character equivalent of the game doing the sign of the cross after a victory has been called. Via social media, the fighter raised the concern and humbly asked EA Sports to revise his post-fight celebration, given that he has a huge Muslim fan base and it would be greatly affected.

EA Sports then responded promptly and stated via direct message, "Hello Khabib. Just wanted to reach out and let you know that we've seen your concern in regards to your after fight celebration. We've informed our development team about this issue and will change the celebration in our next update. Apologies if this has offended you in any way."

The update is now live for the PlayStation 4 and will also be made available for the Xbox One. According to Design and Trend, a new patch for UFC 2 welcomes three new fighters to the roster, namely the Lightweight Sage Northcutt, Flyweight Jessica Aguilar and UFC Commentator Joe Rogan. Not all three can be easily accessed; both Northcutt and Aguilar can be spotted right away in-game, whereas Rogan is an unlockable character that is code-activated via the Konami code as soon as the game starts up.

UFC 2 has so far received average-to-good reviews. The title promised better in-game combat physics, submission properties and over-all grappling maneuverability which many fans have seen upon playing.
