Persona 5: Rumors State Title Launch Date to be Moved Near Rival FFXV Release?

By

Atlus' Persona 5 could be on to something when it comes to assigning its own release date. So far, the development team has not been very specific with any launch date, and because that, fans have wondered what is to become of the said topic. Surely enough, Atlus may have plans of their own.

According to Christian Today, the original plan was to launch Atlus' Persona 5 sometime during the second quarter of 2016. Even to the point of declaring May as a marker, Atlus was not very certain of the said disclosure; and it leaves fans curious of what gives. One theory became a prominent one to the followers of the franchise recently and it is not at all an impossibility.

As per N4BB, many role-playing gamers may know that Square Enix's highly influential Final Fantasy franchise has become quite a threat for any other of the said genre. The entire Persona series is one that seemingly catches up to the race, and because of it, fans are firm to believe that Persona 5 may be aligning itself to release date of Square Enix's Final Fantasy XV. Since the said game is expected to release by September, Persona 5 is now rumored to launch along the lines of late July instead of the more unlikely May period.

Christian Times delivered that Persona 5 will revolve around the story of high school students that look to take control of a society filled with unruly governance. The main protagonists include Ryuji Sakamoto, whose Persona is called Captain Kidd, Anne Takamaki as Carmen, Yusuke Kitagawa aka Goemon and a cat named Morgana with Zorro as an alternate.

The competition has been quite heavy for Persona 5, given that Square Enix is ready to release both Final Fantasy XV and the Final Fantasy VII Remake. Nonetheless, gamers can rest assured that Persona 5 will deliver as it should. Keep posted for more Persona 5 news.
