Frozen 2 to begin recording this March, confirms Kristen Bell; Tarzan to appear?

Disney is currently working on a sequel for its 2013 hit animated film, currently entitled Frozen 2. Kristen Bell who voiced Anna in the previous film revealed new details on the production, while plot speculations still continue to revolve around the film.

While promoting for her comedy flick, The Boss, Bell has revealed new details on the production of the highly anticipated sequel. According to /Film, Bell confirmed that the story has been written and is going through revisions, but recording is set to begin this month.

She also added that the sequel would not disappoint fans as it is of good quality, "The story is great, and they exude quality. What I know about that whole team is that they wouldn't just put something out to put it out.", she said.

"That's why it took them so long to even announce that we were doing a second one. Generally when you have a first successful movie you want to make a second one. It took them a while because they wanted to figure out what story they needed to tell and what would be important and engaging and I think they found it.", Belle added.

Aside from the fact that it is currently in the works, details about the sequel are under wraps. Regardless, plot speculations are still all over the sequel, several of which suggest the introduction of a new villain. However according to Ecumenical News, Elsa and Anna's family tree is the latest subject of rumors as the sisters are rumored to be related another Disney character, Tarzan.

The rumor has surfaced before which was addressed by Chris Buck by going along with it, which likely means that the Tarzan theory is not true, but still not ruled out. Another theory is that Prince Hans who was a bad character in the previous installment could return as a good man. However, until official details are revealed, these rumors must be treated with a grain of salt.

Meanwhile, the franchise's stars Josh Gad who voiced Olaf, Idina Menzel who voiced Elsa, and Bell recently got together for an event for a cause. According to Movie News Guide, Menzel and Bell sang the hit song Let It Go, while Gad posted a photo of his reunion with the actresses in his social media account, which definitely seals the truth that they have formed friendships even after the production of the first film.

Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee are set to return for Frozen 2. No release date has been officially slated for the film as it is currently in  its early stages but more details will be reported as they are released when production progress.
