The Last of Us 2 Named "Days Gone" According to Reports; Naughty Dog to Continue Ellie's Journey?

Naughty Dog's tendency of having The Last of Us 2 has certainly become an interest to many fans that became obsessed with the first title launched a number of years back. Apparently, gamers take the matter seriously that hints were somewhat read from the most uncanny things.

As per Parent Herald, fans are cordially awaiting for further announcements regarding the said second expansion, though no official news has been divulged by Naughty Dog. That being said, there is almost no reason for gamers to believe that a second installment is bound to come; that is until a possible clue sprung about and caught the attention of the fans.

Noted by Christian Today, a recent leak of a possible project by Naughty Dog named Days Gone was spotted online. As Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, their up and coming continuity to the franchise will be the last in the series, fans believed that Days Gone will be the expansion name for The Last of Us 2 but no official word has been given to support it.

Previous reports stated that the trademark has no fixed designation yet as to which game it will be, let alone if it will even go to The Last of Us. As for the story, the ending of the first installment pointed towards a possible journey for Ellie finding out where to go from where she was left off by herself. The particular plot is speculated on by many to be The Last of Us 2's possible take.

No release date of news has been declared by developer Naughty Dog for The Last of Us 2. The focus of the company is said to be circling around Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, as it finally draws the curtains for Nathan Drake's adventures. The development team says that the book is still open for a possible second expansion for the chart-topping zombie survival marvel.
