HTC One M10 Rumors Update: Perfume to come with excellent display, battery, camera; Slated for February 2016 release?

The HTC One M10 is rumored to be the best HTC smartphone expected to have an excellent display, battery, and camera. The One M10, also called Perfume, could be released at the Mobile World Congress 2016 this February.

HTC could already be working on the One M10, the successor to the failed One M9. Also dubbed as Perfume, the HTC One M10 is expected to be a total upgrade of the One M9 as per International Business Times. An excellent display, camera, and battery will help the One M10 challenge upcoming smartphone flagships such as the iPhone 7 and the Samsung Galaxy S7.

The HTC One M10 will likely borrow and enhance the design of the former One A9. Reports say that the next HTC flagship phone will sport an all-aluminum build as well as a slightly bigger screen. Reliable Android tipster Evan Blass revealed that the One M10 will be the first HTC phone to launch with a 5.1" QHD AMOLED display with 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution.

The photo leaked by Blass suggested that the One M10 will remove dual front-facing speakers to give way to a physical home button with a fingerprint scanner. The phone will likely offer premium features such as a 12.3 MP UltraPixel camera for higher quality photos. On the inside, the HTC One M10 could run a Snapdragon 820 chipset and Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with Sense 8.0 on top. It might ship with 4GB RAM and 32GB expandable storage.

However, 9to5Google reported that another tipster named LlabTooFeR challenged Blass' leak. According to LlabTooFeR, the HTC One M10 will have a larger 5.2" display instead of 5.1". He did not contradict other specs and features of the One M10 revealed by Blass.

The specific release date for the device is still unknown. According to GottaBeMobile, rumors say that the next HTC flagship phone will be launched this February at the MWC 2016 in Barcelona Spain. Yet, more recent reports suggest that the HTC One M10 could be released at a later event in March.

Known details surrounding the HTC One M10 are still based on speculation so these are still subject to change. Some speculate that the One M10 could end up like its predecessors if it fails to bring top-notch design and features.
