Poppermost Productions' Marketing Manager Thomas Joubert announced that the SNOW Closed Beta for Sony's flagship console is scheduled for an early spring release this year, according to Latin Post. However, Joubert stated that the PS4's Closed Beta is still being perfected stressing that Poppermost would rather distribute a completely enhance game for Playstation 4.

Poppermost is also looking forward of releasing SNOW for Xbox One users. But, Joubert confessed that the Xbox version will depend on how well Playstation Beta version is received since the company has limited resources, the site added.

Joubert told Red Bull that the same small team of 10 members is at hard work preparing SNOW for Beta testing on PS4 after the successful Open Beta Testing on PC.

The closed beta for Poppermost Studios's upcoming skiing and snowboarding game, SNOW, will launch on PS4 in the Spring, wrote Playstation Universe.

"Now that SNOW is in Open Beta on PC, we can start to focus more on the PS4 version. We have a working build and have shown it at a few shows, but needed the extra time to make sure it was optimized for a console launch," Joubert said, as cited by the news source.

The Swedish studio also established SNOW is touted for PlayStation VR support as Joubert said SNOW has a great potential in VR. The studio will try to support all the different VR devices on PC and PS4 once they are out for public consumptions, added PSU.

SNOW currently only contains skiing, but with the launching of the game to PS4, snowboarding will be added.
