Final Fantasy XV Leaked to Release PC Version; Dev Square Enix Stays Mum About the Matter

By

Final Fantasy XV is expected to release sometime within 2016. However, not all platforms are ready to accept the said title just yet especially as fans of the franchise are still waiting for a universal PC version to wash ashore soon. To make things more intriguing, there are those that claim to have seen small hints that the game will indeed come to the PC.

As per PC Gamer, Final Fantasy XV was reported of being on the shelves of gamers this year for the Xbox one and the PlayStation 4. Sadly, given that the PC version is a more versatile piece of hardware that many can avail of or already have, fans of the series are waiting for the said version to come forth; and a ray of light may be shining in.

Noted by Trusted Reviews, a certain NeoGAF user stated there was a probable hint directing towards the PC version of Final Fantasy XV. A few intriguing words labelled in a Javascript file within the HTML code of the Final Fantasy XV "Uncovered" website that references to Steam, Xbox, PlayStation and even Square Enix online stores was spotted. Despite these details, however, no affirmation from Square Enix was made.

The story was immediately derailed by one other user that noticed the code was identical to such used for the Rise of the Tomb Raider page. In other words, the said tactic was either a method to get false attention or simply an overlooked lapse that was not meant for the Final Fantasy XV title, according to Game Rant.

Final Fantasy XV is yet to reveal a solid release date for the fans. As there are no fixed news yet or more information for the upcoming title, gamers are recommended to stay put and wait for official details, alongside the highly-anticipated Final Fantasy VII Remake.
