With just barely a few months to go before the "Divergent: Allegiant" movie premiere there's already a huge buzz surrounding Theo James' and Shailene Woodley's paths after "Divergent". For one, reports say a real-life romance may be brewing for the onscreen love birds.
There's been a lot of talk about the possibility of Theo James and Shailene Woodley dating, and fantasies are being fueld by the latest "Allegiant" trailer.
As noted by MTV, in the new trailer for "Allegiant" Four (played by Theo James) strips down in front of Tris (portrayed by Shailene Woodley) as they talk about life without the factions they've known and lived by for so long.
The new trailer will also fans a first look at Jeff Daniels as the leader of the Bureau of Genetic Welfare.
According to Movie News Guide, James had expressed in a previous interview his closeness with Woodley off-screen, saying, "We all hung out a lot. It was fun. We were all in this one apartment. We're all sharing a bed - me and Shailene just shared a single bed and were just like spooning every night!"
While Theo James is currently dating long-time girlfriend and fiancée Ruth Kearney, rumor has it that James' convincing chemistry with Woodley in the "Divergent" movies is not sitting out well with the Irish actress. A seeming disparity between the couple grew more pronounced when it was revealed that the couple's wedding was postponed reportedly due to James' decision to prioritize his booming career.
Indeed, it's more than just a booming career that awaits the 31-year-old British hottie. Australia Network reported that Theo James is being pitted against top actors Idris Elba, Tom Hiddleston and Michael Fassbender to become Daniel Craig's successor as James Bond. The report mentioned that producers first took notice of James through his Hugo Boss campaign. His smolder and sexy British accent allegedly make him a suitable candidate for the famed 007 character.
Nevertheless, a source close to Ruth Kearney and Theo James said the actress understands James' decision to put off the wedding to give him time to focus on building up his career.
Meanwhile, Shailene Woodley is dating Nahko Bear, front man of a band called Nahko and Medicine for the People.
Theo James is slated to star in two movies this year. Apart from "Divergent: Allegiant," he will appear alongside Kate Beckinsale in the action-horror flick "Underworld: Next Generation," the fifth movie in the hit vampire movie franchise. The "Divergent" actor will reprise his role as David, a friend of Beckinsale's Selene.
The "Divergent: Allegiant" movie release date has been set for March 18.
