While Jess Day, play by Zoey Deschanel, certainly keeps the friendship rolling in the apartment, the arrival of Megan Fox as Reagan certainly brought some spice in the fifth season of New Girl.According to Movie Pilot, New Girl Season 5 is gradually shifting into a new direction as Megan Fox herself revealed in an interview that her character Reagan shared a past with Cece Parekh play by Hannah Simone. It was a surprised for the fans of the show as the series did not give any hint on Cece's bisexuality.
Hannah Simone added that the first episode of New Girl Season 5, the two showered together. Teaser also revealed that Reagan return to Cece's life to revive relationship with the former. The possibility garnered positive feedbacks as the show finally bring in a queer element.
For the fifth episode of New Girl, Nick Miller (Jake Johnson) will be visited by his cousin and wife, and will be asked to do a favor whom Nick cannot say no to, TV Line reported. While Winston Bishop accompanies Cece to look for that perfect wedding gown.
In the last episode of New Girl entitled No Girl, Jess was called away for a jury duty whom Nick took advantage of to help Schimdt's (Max Greenfield) bachelor party in Tokyo. The space occupied by Jess is open and Nick suggested a crazy idea of opening up the apartment as a boutique hotel. While Nick and Schimdt are plotting to earn profits from the boutique hotel, Winston suspect KC is cheating. Cece temporarily replaced Jess as the lady friend who gives good advice. The episode ended with Winston finally pranked someone - KC and Nick and Schimdt realized the boutique hotel will not work for them, Vulture reported.
