Jennifer Lawrence Nominated for Best Actress at the Oscars for Her Portrayal of Joy Mangano in the Movie "Joy"

After winning Best Actress for the Golden Globe Awards, actress Jennifer Lawrence is now nominated again as Best Actress at the Oscars for her portrayal as Joy Mangano in the movie "Joy". Real life Joy Mangano is very impressed of her portrayal in the movie.

Just recently, 25-year-old actress won Best Actress at the Golden Globe Awards earlier this year. Now, she is again nominated for Oscars as Best Actress for her portrayal as Joy Mangano in the movie Joy. The actress has already won an Oscars last year and four out of five nominations for Golden Globe. According to Design and Trend, real life Joy Mangano is really impressed of JLaw's portrayal of her life in the movie. She says JLaw definitely deserves the award, especially at such a young age with that much talent.

She believes of JLaw's passion in acting as she has observed in her other movies as well. "Some people are born to do what they do, and she does it in such a talented and graceful way," Mangano said, as reported by People. She even constantly jokes about how JLaw could have already lived other lives, being who she already is at such a young age. Director of the movie "Joy", David O. Russell, also said how challenging the movie is since it is a true story and its obviousness was definitely a challenge. He sees JLaw in the role that she portrays in the movie as well, which has made it even more amazing for the actress.

Being that Jennifer Lawrence is nominated for Best Actress, she is also up against some of the best actresses in the industry. There have been reports that she currently has a feud going on with actress Brie Larson, who is also nominated for the award. She also won at the recent Golden Globe, which was a first for her. Hollywood Take reported that JLaw might have felt like there was definitely a competition between her and Larson.

Reports say that her conflict with Brie Larson is just a mere speculation. Jennifer Lawrence definitely has an edge in the competition, if there is one.
