Kate Middleton Lands One-Day Guest Editor Stint As Requested by Queen Elizabeth II?

It looks like even royalty have to get a full-time paying job. Rumors have it that the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, is being required by Queen Elizabeth II to have a job. According to reports, the 34-year-old mother of two is joining The Huffington Post UK as its "guest editor" sometime in February. Reportedly, she was being pressured by the Queen to have a paying job of her own. If the rumors are true, however, Middleton will only be joining the online site for a day.

While she won't be a permanent figure on the online news site, it looks like Middleton's task will make a positive impact for what she is rallying for. Taking this opportunity, Middleton will be contributing a topic that will "highlight the importance" of the mental health of children. At the same time, this is a great opportunity for her to credit inspiring work that is being done by mental health professionals, researchers, teachers, and parents throughout the country.

Given her knowledge on mental health issues and her background in a charity called Place2Be, Middleton is the perfect individual to give highlight to this growing issue. The charity provides mental health and emotional support services in 175 schools to more than 67,000 children throughout Britain. Middleton is a patron of the charity.

As for whether Middleton will be working in-office or remotely via Kensington Palace, a spokesperson for the residence has mentioned that they are welcoming The Huffington Post team to Middleton's 20-room apartment in the palace. Stephen Hull, who is the Editor-in-Chief of The Huffington Post UK, has confirmed the report and says that they are thrilled with the idea of The Duchess of Cambridge being part of the HuffPost UK team even just for a day.

With a stint as a guest editor for The Huffington Post UK, it just might debunk rumors that Middleton is already two months pregnant with her third child, as earlier reported by Life And Style Mag. Perhaps her one-day stint at the news site could become a regular thing?
