One of china's leading smartphone manufacturer, Oppo, has released its new camera-oriented unit in Vietnam. The new phone is called the F1 and one of its key aspects is its front facing camera.

The new Oppo F1 has a 5.0-inch HD (1280x720p) display with 2.5F with a 294 ppi (pixels per inch) and has Gorilla Glass 4 screen for protection. It comes in a full metal aluminum body with the SD card and sim slots found at the back. Reports from IB Times says that there is only one color way for this device and that is copper yellow.

According to DNA India, the brain that's powering this device is the 64-bit class Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 Octa-core (1.5 GHz ARM Cortex A53 quad-core + 1.2GHz ARM Cortex A53 quad-core) CPU and the Adreno 405 to manage its graphics. The unit also utilizes the Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with Color OS v2.1 UI. With a 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory that comes with an option of up to 128GB of expendable memory.

Consumers see smartphones now a days as their go-to gadget. From doing office works, social networking, music player and even their handy shooter. That's why the crowning glory for the F1 is its front-facing camera. It is an 8MP clicker with f/2.0 aperture and a quarter of an inch sensor. It also has a software called Beautify v3.0 tool which is used to brighten the display to bring out a flash like effect during taking a selfie which is also reminiscent of the latest Apple Iphone 6s. At the back is a 13MP camera with f/2.2 aperture and a single LED flash says Technmily.

With over a thousand different designs of smartphones available in the market today, with different specs catering to each individual, Oppo F1 might be a good addition. Even so, it will be up to the consuming public if Oppos new F1 can deliver an amazing selfie.
