John Wick 2 will feature International Assassins to fight Keanu Reeves; Ruby Rose role might be a fighter

After the success of 2014 neo-noir action thriller film starring Keanu Reeves as the titular character, a sequel is evidently on the run as the plot details involving a new league of antagonists were revealed. Moreover, additional actress Ruby Rose was seen to be having a key role in the sequel.

Keanu Reeves was really impressive in the original John Wick 2 after clashing with the Russian gangsters, and now the 'Matrix' actor is moving forward to battling other villains. According to Cross Map, a photo recently leaked online that shows Keanu Reeves fighting a guy in a suit. The photo was posted by a Pricilla Page on Twitter as she might have captured it during John Wick's production in New York. Whether this is true, there are still no confirmations on the side of the studio as they're trying to keep the plot details in silent.

However, Keanu Reeves gave his statement about the making of John Wick sequel. In the reports of Movie News Guide, the actor addressed his thoughts regarding the John Wick 2 and the production team. In his statement, the actor said that there's the influence of this Continental World that made the people like it and will be paid attention in the chapter 2 of John Wick. This could indicate that there is really an effort to include some underworld assassins as the new villains.

Moreover, the newest addition to the John Wick franchise, Ruby Rose is gearing up her shape for the film. According to Access Hollywood, there has been series of photos showed off by Ruby Rose on Instagram. These include killer workouts and routines which are speculated for the John Wick 2 and her newest film with Vin Diesel's XXX. This could indicate that the role she'll be playing would be a fighter beside or against John Wick since Rose's character isn't revealed yet.

John Wick 2 is the upcoming sequel to action thriller film of 2014's John Wick. The film starred Keanu Reeves with a pack of Hollywood stars Common, Ian McShane and Lawrence Fishbourne. The plot is speculated to circle around the international assassins as indicated by set photos. Lastly, Ruby Rose is hinted to be preparing for a role which would assign her to fight scenes as she's shaping up. The announcement for the release of John Wick 2 isn't revealed yet but many expect a 2016 release.
