‘Suits’ Season 5: Everything We Know So Far About the Midseason Premiere

By

When we last checked in on Suits, Mike’s ultimate secret of not going to law school was finally known by the authorities. The shocking twist, which unfolded last August, lead to his arrest for conspiracy to commit fraud.  So what happens next? Will Mike be sentenced for a long time in prison? Can Harvey save his protege for this crime?

The well-watched legal drama will reportedly delve on the aftermath of Mike’s arrest. As per the network’s description released via TV After Dark, viewers will find Mike living his “worst fears”. He will also be under probe by a “ruthless” prosecutor, Assistant US Attorney Anita Gibbs (played by Leslie Hope).

Team Jessica and Harvey, meanwhile, will try to get Mike out of this mess by building a defense despite of the fact that he’s guilty. Mike’s fiancé, Rachel, will be going through an emotional turmoil as she faces her family and their reaction to Mike’s unveiled secret.

A gallery of images released by Spoilers Guide also provide great intel on the midseason premiere. Some of the highlights include: Harvey and Mike having a serious conversation inside the interrogation room, Rachel’s father visiting Mike in prison, and a scene between Leslie Hope and Mike which looks like he’s being deposed.

Judging from these photos, it can be speculated that this is only the tip of the icerberg for Mike, Harvey and the rest of the firm. It’s also going to be an emotional roller coaster for Rachel, knowing that she’s already decided to wed Mike Ross anytime soon.

In the clip released by Youtube, it's palpable that the remaining episodes of Suits season 5 will be totally different. Now that one of their own is being prosecuted, fans can only expect for the worse.

Suits season 5 resumes on Thursday, Jan. 27 on USA Network.
