'The Vampire Diaries' Season 7 News: EP debunks rumors on Leslie-Anne Huff replacing Nina Dobrev

EP Caroline Dries debunks the ongoing rumors that Leslie-Anne Huff has replaced Nina Dobrev in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 7. In addition to that, the official synopsis for episode 10 has been revealed while the official trailer has been released.

Executive producer Caroline Dries debunks the said issue and states that the resemblance of the Nina Dobrev and Leslie-Anne Huff was purely coincidential. Leslie-Anne Huff has been cast to play Rayna and not replace the former lead actress, Australia Network News reports.

As for the official plot for Vampire Diaries Season 7 episode 10, Comic Book Movie notes, "After saying an emotional goodbye to Elena Gilbert (Nina Dobrev), some characters will falter and Bonnie Bennett (Kat Graham), in particular, will explore her new lease on life. As Damon Salvatore (Ian Somerhalder) and Stefan Salvatore's (Paul Wesley) mother, Lily (guest star Annie Wersching), tries to drive a wedge between the Salvatore brothers, hope remains that Stefan and Caroline Forbes' (Candice Accola) love story is tough enough to survive.

Damon will do whatever it takes to take down his mother and her band of Heretics, and Lorenzo St. Claire (Michael Malarkey) will struggle with where his loyalties lie. Plus, with Mystic Falls in disarray and the arrival of the Heretics - who are set on retaliation and mayhem - the suspense will be stronger than ever."

On the other hand, Hollywood Hills has reported that the official spoiler promo clip for the 10th episode has been released by The CW. The clip features Damon being resurrected from the dead 3 months after and suddenly, he attacks Caroline. Meanwhile, Stefan is in great danger after being unable to come back.

"The Vampire Diaries" Season 7 Episode 10 is entitled as "Hell is Other People". The upcoming episode is scheduled to launch on Friday, January 29, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. exclusively on The CW.
