Fans of the NBA 2k series have quite a lot of new stuff these past few weeks. This including a patch featuring bug fixes for some of the more grating glitches, some new locker codes and a brand-new update for NBA 2K16 that adds the NBA On Christmas Day uniforms for all thirty teams, plus three new sneaker designs were also released for the MyPlayer character customization screen.
The Christmas jerseys make their way into the game in the most recent update, including the designs for the teams that aren't playing on Dec. 25. Much like in any jersey design added to NBA Live 16, all the uniforms are tied to a roster update in-game, which means players won't be able to use or implement said jerseys in existing save modes, and that players will have to start over to be able to use these designs. Master Herald also reports that said Christmas jerseys will only be available for use in the Play Now and Online Games modes.
Also added to the game were three new pairs of sneakers - the Air Jordan XI Low, the Nike HyperQuickness 2015 and the Nike LeBron XII Low are now available for players, and each sneaker design is available for purchase and will be added to your MyPlayer for the price of 2,000 VC. A few locker codes were also released, and will let players access some iconic basketball players as well as some current players, including Michael Jordan, Stephen Curry and Shaquille O'Neil. Aside from this, a fourth patch for NBA 2K16 went live last week and included a fix for the couch co-op bug, as well as addressing other issues like a corruption issue where some users were experiencing hangs, missing art assets, and infinite loads due to anti-virus conflicts with the program and the Steam client, a disconnection issue, user interface improvements and many more. Some features were also improved and optimized for players of the game to enhance the gameplay experience. NBA 2K16 is now available to purchase for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 game consoles and for the Microsoft Windows PC.
