It's Official! Brandon Davis Charged With DUI

By

Oil heir Brandon Davis' days as a free man is over. Earlier this week, Davis was formally charged with drunk driving after he was involved in a car crash last October. And considering the gravity of the crash, it's no longer a surprise as to why Davis received this charge.

As initially reported by TMZ, Davis was charged with drunk driving after he totaled his car, a black Mercedes. Before Davis was involved in the accident, he was spotted and photographed drinking red wine in a restaurant in West Hollywood with his friend Mike Comrie, who also happens to be Hilary Duff's ex-husband. Later in the night, Davis got into his Mercedes and drove. When the accident happened, reports say that his car had flipped over several times. This led Davis to be admitted to the hospital for being severely injured, where he was later on arrested for drunk driving. According to the police, Davis' blood alcohol level (at the time of the incident) was almost twice the legal limit. Later on, photos from the restaurant emerged online with Davis drinking wine.

Back in 2011, Davis pleaded guilty to a case of cocaine possession. While his DUI case could place him on probation, his earlier arrest could mean more serious charges. Before the incident, Davis was reported to owe $300,000 to Steve Wynn, the Las Vegas mogul. Despite this, he was still seen partying in Cannes.

Apart from being an oil heir, Davis is also popularly known as Paris Hilton's BFF. In 2006, he went on a video rant where he publicly dissed his ex, Lindsay Lohan, as a firecrotch. He also dated Rachael Leigh Cook, Mischa Barton, Cheyenne Tozzi, and Brittny Gastineau. Now that Davis has been officially charged with drunk driving and is facing serious jail time, would any of his exes pay him a visit in prison?
