Taylor Swift, Calvin Harris have no imminent engagement plans; Couple to talk things out over the holidays

There are many hearsays concerning Taylor Swift's state of relationship with DJ Calvin Harris. Words circulated that the 1989 singer has already been engaged to his longest-running boyfriend so far and that the two could be planning for a spring wedding next year.

As Swift's relationship with the Scottish DJ reached a plateau these past months, everyone is getting curious about what is going to happen next.

Despite contradicting rumors of relationship hitting the rocks, standstill, or the more optimistic ones like the two were already secretly engaged and are planning to reveal it this Christmas, no explicit information coming directly from either of them has been relayed to the public yet.

It can be recalled that their relationship was said to have hit a bumpy road after Harris was allegedly spotted coming out of a Thai parlor which eventually angered Swift, causing her to reprimand him about it over the phone.

Added to that, they barely see each other as she was busy with her 1989 World Tour while the 31-year-old DJ has gigs around the globe as well. They rarely even appeared on each other's social media anymore and had been reported to have taken a break from each other to think if staying in this relationship is worth it. A source later informed Grazia Magazine that the couple has decided to talk things out over the holidays.

Things seemed to have turned out well as another source claimed to be close to the two artists recently told a webloid that "No breakup is going to happen. No engagement is imminent but they have told each other that it ends with them and they will get married," easing the burden that a breakup song might be written soon.

Swift's latest relationship seems to be heading the right way as the informant adds that, "They want to make up for lost time. The two want to spend a week in bed together because they've really missed being a couple, and really missed their intimacy with one another."

Taylor Swift has reportedly asked for a three-year break off the music industry after a very exciting yet taxing year for her. If plot twist takes place and the engagement happens this Christmas, fans can expect not for another breakup song but for wedding bells after all.
