HTC reportedly has an upcoming Android smartphone, named as the One X9. Ahead of its formal launch, leaked photos of the rumored device have surfaced online.

The Taiwan-based tech company has produced and released a good number of handsets this year. And just recently, rumors have been circulating that HTC is now gearing up for the production of a new mid-range device that could possibly be announced by next year.

As reported by Android Headlines, the HTC One X9 is believed to sport a 5.5-inch 1080 pixel display. Its design might have a smooth metal body with rounded corners as well as a stylish strip across the higher part of its back.

Under the hood, it is alleged to be powered by MediaTek's octa-core Helio X10 with 2GB of RAM. Moreover, it is said to run on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop operating system right out of the box with HTC Sense UI pre-installed too.

Camera wise, it boasts a 13-megapixel primary shooter along with an UltraPixel secondary snapper. The HTC One X9 is also rumored to include a 3000mAh battery, BoomSound dual front-facing speakers, and a 16GB of internal storage, expandable through a micro SD card.

This forthcoming device from HTC is speculated to be a mid-range smartphone that is geared towards consumers who are in tight budget, but want to enjoy the features and specifications of a premium handset. Unfortunately, there are no other details and information about the rumored One X9. However, the company might announce something about it in the coming days.

On the whole, HTC is paving its way to the smartphone market these days. Since it has created numerous smartphones this year, expect it to launch more, which include the HTC One X9, soon. Thus, all HTC users and spectators should just wait for the official announcement of the company regarding the One X9.
