President Barack Obama on Tuesday named veteran Secret Service agent Julia Pierson as the agency's new director Pierson, who most recently served as the agency's chief of staff, will take over from Mark Sullivan, who announced his retirement last month.

U.S. Secret Service have been investigating the web site, which displayed the photos by the hacker, including one that shows Bush Sr. while in a Houston hospital, apparently taken by his daughter, according to Aljazeera.com. Bush Sr. recently spent almost two month being treated for complication from a bronchial infection.
