A Tennessee woman was arrested after she allegedly robbed a food delivery driver at knifepoint, demanding he hand over the bag of food and his wallet.

On Tuesday, Christina Sawyers, 39, allegedly approached a Nashville delivery driver's window with a knife. She then reached in and snatched the food and his wallet before fleeing the scene in a waiting vehicle with two other people, WKRN News 2 reported.

The delivery driver attempted to follow Sawyers' vehicle, but eventually gave up and contacted police.

Hours later, police located the vehicle and found the suspect along with two others as well as the food delivery bag. Sawyer eventually conceded she had interacted with the victim, according to WKRN.

Sawyers was arrested and charged with felony aggravated robbery with a weapon, misdemeanor contained substance possession and misdemeanor drug paraphernalia possession. She is being held on a $52,000 bond.
