Arlington Police are searching for a group of young robbery suspects, including a child as young as five years old, after an incident at a local store Saturday night.

When officers responded to reports of a robbery, employees told police that seven kids entered the store, grabbed merchandise, attempted to conceal it, and then tried to walk out without paying, WUSA 9 reported.

Two of the suspects managed to escape immediately, while an employee attempted to block the others from leaving. The remaining five pushed past the worker and fled, with one suspect throwing a drink at the employee outside before the group ran off.

Police say six of the suspects are between 12 and 14 years old, while the youngest is believed to be just 5 or 6 years old.

Authorities are now working to identify the juveniles involved. Anyone with information is urged to contact Arlington Police.
