Texas school officials are investigating a substitute teacher who asked ICE to come to her school, noting that some her students "don't even speak English."

The teacher made the request through a social media post on X. The post, according to Fox-4, stated: "Y'all should come to Fort Worth, TX to Northside High School. I have many students who don't even speak English, and they are in 10th-11th grade. They have to communicate through their iPhone translator with me. The @USEDGOV should totally overhaul our school system in Texas."

School officials said the matter is being investigated and that the teacher will not be on campus during the investigation.

"We are aware of a recent social media post referencing North Side High School which was allegedly made by a substitute teacher and has caused concern among our Fort Worth ISD community," school officials said in a Facebook post. "We take this matter very seriously and are conducting a thorough investigation to understand the circumstances and ensure appropriate actions are taken. As per district protocol, the employee will not be on campus during the investigation."

The Trump administration has launched numerous ICE raids around the country. On Sunday, nearly 1,000 people were arrested, CNN reported.
