Andrew Tate, a self-proclaimed misogynist influencer, has announced that he plans to return to the United States following Donald Trump's election results after being charged with human trafficking while living in Romania.
After Trump beat Kamala Harris in Tuesday's race for presidency, Tate took to X — one of the few social media platforms where he is not banned from — to share his excitement.

"From we did it Joe to we did it Hoe. SEEYA," Tate wrote to X. In another tweet, he said, "I'm moving back to America."
Tate also replied to Harris supporters, calling them "f****ts" and calling some women who voted for Harris "chubby."

"THE BULLETPROOF OUTLAW IS IN CHARGE," Tate wrote in another tweet. He added in a different tweet, which included the n-word, "THE PATRIARCHY IS BACK."
Tate was born in the U.K., but raised in the United States until his parents divorce when he moved back to England with his mother. He rose to fame online after posting countless videos of a high-end way of living, and has been accused of radicalizing young men with his comments about women, as reported by the BBC.
Tate said he was "absolutely a misogynist" in a previous interview with a fellow YouTuber, adding "I'm a realist and when you're a realist, you're sexist. There's no way you can be rooted in reality and not be sexist."
In December 2022, police arrested Tate and his brother Tristan Tate in a suburb of Bucharest, Romania, and charged the two with rape, human trafficking and forming an organized crime group to sexually exploit women. The brothers are also being investigated for similar allegations in the U.K.
A representative for Tristan and Andrew Tate told the BBC that they "unequivocally deny all allegations."
