'Meals on Wheels' Driver Was Delivering Meth In Between Stops to Feed the Elderly

Deputies discovered more than 490 grams of meth in the Georgia woman's home

A Georgia woman was arrested after allegedly using her position as a "Meals on Wheels" delivery driver to distribute meth, deputies said.

Tammy Dyer, 55, was "occasionally using her position as a 'meals on wheels' delivery driver to distribute these drugs," according to the Walton County Sheriff's Office.

It was not shared which "Meals on Wheels" in Walton County that she worked for.

Deputies said that Dyer was allegedly involved with a drug trafficking organization in the Atlanta area. In September, deputies obtained a search warrant for Dyer's home, where they reportedly found 491 grams of methamphetamine and "several drug related objects," the sheriff's office said.

Dyer was charged with trafficking methamphetamine and possession of drug related objects, and was booked into Walton County Jail.
