A Massachusetts school bus driver accused of abducting three preschoolers on their way to daycare allegedly drove them to secluded areas and took photos with them.

Justin Vose, 42, was working as a bus driver for the Newton Early Education Childhood Program and Transportation for Newton Public Schools, when on several occasions, he purportedly drove the victims between the ages of 3 and 5 to hidden areas of the Newton, Massachusetts, preschool parking lot and turned off the audio and video recording in his bus for up to 20 minutes at a time, the Middlesex County District Attorney's Office announced Wednesday.

Vose has since been charged with three counts of kidnapping.

"At no time did the school district, parent of the students, daycare or bus company official authorize the defendant's change in route or one-on-one time with the victims," the DA's office stated.

The investigation into Vose began May 2024 after one of the students was dropped off late to daycare. Detectives allegedly found photos of the victims during a search of the suspect's phone.

Vose will be arraigned Oct. 25 during which he will be given the opportunity to enter pleas to the charges.
