LG G6 Latest News And Updates: Newest Leak Hints At Device's Angles; MWC Invite Released

South Korean tech player LG is seriously gearing up the release of its much-anticipated LG G6 in the imminent Mobile World Congress in Barcelona this month. This is now propelled by the recent releases of the device's leaks and its proprietary invites leading to the occasion.

According to Phone Arena, LG has officially confirmed the forthcoming release of LG G6 as it revealed its invite for its launch at MWC this month. The invite teases "big screen that fits," confirming that the company's flagship iteration might very well be sporting a massive display. Previously, LG G6 was speculated to come with a 5.7-inch screen along with 9:18 aspect ration. As such, the device may be unveiled a bit longer than anticipated over its previous outings.

Meanwhile, LG G6's recent leaked photos of its prototypes have indicated that the device will be sporting a near bezel-less display, akin to its rival Samsung Galaxy S8. Apart from the impressive design, the smartphone may come with a water-resistant metal body that should fit the speculated display.

LG G6 is also expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdraon 821 or could go with Snapdragon 835. It should be boosted by a formidable 4GB RAM for it least premium storage tier offering while it could go higher with 6GB RAM for its high-end variant. Other rumored features include a USB Type-C port, a dual rear camera set up and a non-removable battery.

LG G6's angles have also been leaked, as per GSMArena. Accordingly, the newly leaked images still confirm that the device will be coming with a dual-camera and a fingerprint reader on its back. It will also go with a clean front without the physical buttons. A headphone jack is also included along with two volume buttons right on the side of the unit.

LG G6 is slated to be unveiled on Feb. 26 at the Mobile World Congress. It will be launched alongside Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 and Xiaomi Mi 6.
