Reality TV Star of The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Dina Manzo announced that she is now officially divorced from her husband. After a very long delay, her husband Tommy Manzo signed the divorce papers and finalized the divorce two months ago.
Radar Online reported exclusively that Dina Manzo is now officially divorced from her now ex-husband Tommy Manzo.
"Divorce is never easy. It was a very emotional divorce for me," shetold Radar Online. "Of course it's heartbreaking, but things happen the way they're supposed to," she said. "It was a long time coming. I think we just both had different ideas of what a marriage should be."
She admitted to struggle with the decision for long time. As The Inquisitr reported, she revealed that the divorce was bound to happen because it has been years since they separated. In the Reality TV series which was premiered in May 2009, she told all about the ordeal. She just needed a little push to proceed with the legal process.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey (RHONJ) is a part of Real Housewives franchise, a reality TV series which focuses on the lives of women resides in certain area. Prior to New Jersey as the fourth location, there had been similar series depicting women living in Orange County, New York City, and Atlanta. All of the series were broadcasted on Bravo television network.
Dina Manzo appeared in the RHONJ along with the wife of her husband's brother, Caroline Manzo, who married Albert Manzo. Both Tommy and Albert are the heir of Brownstone restaurant in Patterson, New Jersey.
Tommy inherited the business from his father, Albert 'Tiny' Manzo, which was known as one of the famous mob enforcer in New Jersey. During the crackdown of New Jersey's organized crime in 1980's, their father was murdered in a mafia style execution in 1983. In the end of the war against organized crime, New Jersey State Police brought down the family with 54 arrests and 48 convictions over the crime syndicate.
Dina's ex-husband, Tommy, was reported to have a net worth of $8 million. Their wedding was covered in a VH1 television show My Big Fat Fabulous Wedding, which had over 600 guests and cost $1.1 million.
In RHONJ, Tommy never appeared on the show and he was never at home with Dina according to Inquisitr. Tommy was rumored to cheat on her and they decided to separate in 2013. Dina visited Vikki Ziegler, a divorce attorney, in a Bravo Reality TV series Untying the Knot.
For the divorce, Dina signed a prenuptial agreement and she continued her life with her new boyfriend, David Cantin, a successful owner of a car dealer shop in California. She also focused on her new skincare line, as People reported.
