CBS officially has announced that "Scorpion" Season 2 will continue for season 3 and EP Nicholas Whootton teased what fans should expect in the upcoming installment. Aside from that, CBS has released the official plot description of episode 23 'Chernobyl Intentions' while a recap of episode 22 'Hard Knox' is made available here for fans who have missed to watch it.
CBS has recently announced that they officially picked up "Scorpion" for a season 3. Because of that, executive producer Nicholas Whootton teased via Collider on what fans should expect next season.
Whootton stated, "Walter moves at his own pace and his pace is extremely slow. We see that he has these aspirations and in order to know what you're missing you have to see it threatened. We're showing Walter what he could lose. Patience will pay off. We keep those relationships [Paige Dineen and Walter O'Brien] in mind. We'll take care of you, we promise."
As for the official plot synopsis of episode 23, Hollywood Hills notes, "Team Scorpion travels to Chernobyl to fix a decaying nuclear reactor before a major meltdown occur. However, they must overcome another obstacle yet when Sylvester Dodd (Ari Stidham) and Paige (Katharine McPhee) become trapped inside".
For a quick recap of "Scorpion" Season 2 episode 22 "Hard Knox", Celebrity Dirty Laundry reported that Team Scorpion was hired by the Department of Defense to break into Fort Knox and get the artifact to try if their security system will work. However, after they noticed that there was something dangerous inside the artifact that they were tasked to steal, they were left with no choice but to force entry once again.
"Scorpion" Season 2 Episode 23 is entitled as "Chernobyl Intentions". The forthcoming episode is scheduled to premiere on Monday, April 18, 2016 at 8:00 p.m. first and exclusive on CBS Network. While the 3rd installment is expected to premiere around September of this year.
