Rumor has it that BBC will likely renew "The Night Manager" Season 2. However, cast member David Harewood who portrays the character of Agent Joel Steadman is still unsure if he will still be a part of the upcoming installment. Also, the season premiere's finale episode is made available here for fans who have missed to watch it.

"The Night Manager" has the potential to be renewed for season 2 since the season premiere did so well with the household ratings and viewership performance. But the bad news to fans could be that cast member David Harewood who plays the character of Agent Joel Steadman opened with Digital Spy whether or not he will be a part of the upcoming installment if ever it will be renewed.

Harewood stated, "I know there are rumors. I only hope I'm available. I'd love to do it again. I would crawl across broken glass to work with Olivia Colman again. She's fantastic, a really wonderful actress. I though we made quite a nice team, so I'd like to explore their relationship and see them working them together again, for sure."

With that being said, the 6th episode of the BBC British series has garnered a number of 6.6 million viewers. The finale episode aired last Wednesday, March 27, 2016, Carter Matt has cited.

For a quick recap of "The Night Manager" Season 1 finale episode (episode 6), The Telegraph has reported that Richard Onslow Roper (Hugh Laurie) and the entire team returned to Cairo, Egypt for a deal reuniting former Night manager Jonathan Pine aka Andrew Birch (Tom Hiddleston) with an old foe. Pine risked it all to just to put his plan into action while a discredited Angela Burr (Olivia Colman) made her one last stand. Fortunately, her water didn't break.

As of now, no official confirmation has been stated from BBC Network and its executive producers whether "The Night Manager" Season 2 will be renewed or cancelled.
