Uncharted 4: A Thief's End Possible Ending Discussed by Naughty Dog; Game Defined as "Wide-Linear"

Uncharted 4: A Thief's End has been slated for release in roughly another month from now. With it, fans have been continuously treated to many surprises over the course of the said months, and leaves fans wondering about the game's story. That has been answered by Naughty Dog themselves; and fans may not like the idea entirely.

According to Lazy Gamer, Uncharted 4: A Thief's End recently launched another trailer that showcases the journey within Madagascar. In it, fans can see wonderful terrains and the sizeable locations that the title promises. Though the title was noted of being within the open-world genre, but Naughty Dog answered that it can be defined as wide-linear.

To make things quite a bit more interesting, Naughty Dog spilled a little bit more on the potential ending that Uncharted 4: A Thief's End could head to. Neil Druckmann stated that the ending will be quite a shock to some, but that would be his personal assessment of seeing how fans will react, as per IGN.

The Verge delivered that he was quoted, "What I found is you kind of have to ignore other people. Any time you try to please something outside yourself, it can easily come off as false. Whenever we make something that's honest to us that is the game we truly want to play, you know whether you succeed or not. You pick up the controller and you're playing it and you're like, 'Am I feeling anything from these characters? Am I having fun? Am I intrigued? Am I bored? Do I even care about this character?' And if not, OK, I need to fix that for myself. I found that the more we've done that, the more successful we've been, and that's the only correlation I can come up with."

In a nutshell, Druckmann closed that Uncharted 4: A Thief's End will end on a 50-50 note that will have fans thinking deep. Keep posted for more news on Naughty Dog's last installment of the Uncharted series.
