‘Assassin’s Creed’ offers $1200 pre-order ticket movie package; Michael Fassbender returns for 2nd film

'Assassin's Creed' is an upcoming live-action adaptation based on Ubisoft's bestselling video games of the same name. Advanced movie tickets are now made available for $1200 and include perks such as digital copies of the script as well as replica crossbows. A sequel is already in the works with Michael Fassbender returning as the lead protagonist.

According to The Verge, waiting fans can now avail of the $1200 pre-order movie package for Justin Kurzel's upcoming live-action adaptation of Ubisoft's bestselling video game series. Included in the package is a replica crossbow prop in addition to the advance tickets.

For those unwilling to shell out $1200, a $15 pre-order package is also available and includes an LED watch and temporary tattoos. Each package also contains a digital copy of the film's script.

According to Superherohype.com, the upcoming film will follow Callum Lynch as he travels back in time to 15th Century Spain to explore the memories of his ancestor Aguilar, a deadly assassin operating under the Spanish Brotherhood of Assassins. Michael Fassbender is set to play Callum Lynch as well as Aguilar. He is joined by his 'Macbeth' co-star Oscar-winner Marion Cotillard in a yet unnamed role.

Kurzel's film is scheduled to be released on December this year. Producers Jean-Julien Baronnet of Ubisoft and Frank Marshall has already signed with New Regency for a planned follow-up, which is already in the works.

Fassbender is also set to reprise his role in the planned sequel together with Conor McCaughan, according to another article by Sciencefiction.com. It is not yet known as of the present whether Kurzel will return to helm 'Assassin's Creed 2'.

'Assassin's Creed' is an upcoming live-action adaptation of Ubisoft's highly popular video game series of the same name. It is directed by Justin Kurzel and penned for the big screen by Bill Collage, Adam Cooper and Michael Leslie. It is scheduled to be released on 21, 2016.
