'One Punch Man' Season 2 Spoilers: Saitama to face two new arch enemies; Lord Boros gains regenerative abilities

Rumors have surfaced that "One Punch Man" Season 2 which is expected to air around November or December 2016 will not follow the storyline of the original manga series. That said, Amai Mask and Garou aka the Human Monster will serve as Saitama's main arch enemies and the Hero Hunter arc will be featured.

Rumor has it that the "One Punch Man" Season 2 will not be following the storyline of the manga version, most especially, what the central antagonist that Saitama will face. Speculations suggest that the upcoming season will introduce Handsome Kamen Amai Mask who first debuted as a hero and will turn into a villain.

Amai Mask happens to be a class A rank 1 hero who will fight against the Hero Associaton to seek revenge for the destroyed city, Sportsrageous has reported.

Plot spoilers via Breathe Cast indicate that the sophomore season will pick up right where the season premiere has left off. The first episode will feature Lord Boros gaining some regenerative abilities which will allow him to counteract Saitama's powerful punches. However, Saitama will remain victorious as he unleashes his most powerful punch to date called the serious punch.

In addition to that, the 2nd season will also tackle the Hero Hunter arc. According to Cross Map, the forthcoming arc will feature Saitama's battle against Garou aka The Human Monster. Garou happens to be a S class rank 3 hero and a former student of Silver Fang. He also serves as the most powerful villain of "One Punch Man' Season 2.

As of now, the official premiere date of "One Punch Man" Season 2 has not been released yet. However, speculations are high that the anime adaptation will air around November or December 2016.

"One Punch Man" is an ongoing Japanese webcomic series created by an author using the pseudonym One. The digital manga series serves as a remake which is illustrated by Murata Yusuke.
