‘Pitch Perfect 3’: Justin Bieber casting confirmed; Rebel Wilson reunites with co-stars on 36th birthday bash in LA

'Pitch Perfect 3' may feature pop star Justin Bieber alongside series mainstays Rebel Wilson, Brittany Snow and Anna Kendrick. It is set to premiere in 2017 and will be helmed by filmmaker and actress Elizabeth Banks. Meanwhile, Rebel Wilson reunited with her 'Pitch Perfect' co-stars on her star-studded 26^th birthday bash in Los Angeles.

According to Hollywood Life, Bieber is set to join the cast of 'Pitch Perfect 3' in a yet unnamed role. An insider close to the pop star revealed,  "Rebel and Justin exchanged pleasantries at the [Jennifer Lopez] concert that consisted of talk about working together and she mentioned that he should do 'Pitch Perfect 3' since they are mutual friends with Adam DeVine."

Another source explained that although it wasn't a business meeting nor a casting negotiation, Bieber was highly considering a potential role in the new film. Elizabeth Banks is set to return as director as well as actress for 'Pitch Perfect 3', which is set to premiere in theaters on August 4, 2017.

According to Refinery 29, Brittany Snow revealed that she would return to reprise her role in the upcoming film in series. The 30-year old American actress and singer plays main protagonist Chloe Beale, the co-leader of the chorale group Barden Bellas.

When asked about what to expect for the third installment, she said, "There isn't a script yet, so I have absolutely no idea! I know I'm in it, I know I'm going to be Chloe again, and my hair is going to be red, and that's about all I know. It's always really exciting to be back with the girls and re-create what we started. It's kind of like summer camp - every year, we get to come back."

Meanwhile, Australian comedienne Rebel Wilson recently celebrated her 36^th birthday in Hollywood with some of her 'Pitch Perfect' co-stars. According to The Daily Mail, Wilson partied in Los Angeles with Chrissie Fit, Hailee Steinfeld, Shelley Regner, Ester Dean and Alexis Knapp and posted several Instagram photos of the event.

It was reported that Wilson hid her real age from the public after moving from Australia to Los Angeles to pursue a career in film. She admitted, "An actress has a playing age and can play within that, so why does it matter what her actual age is? I don't get that."

After moving to the United States, she was cast in the hit comedy film 'Bridesmaids' and went on to appear in several other comedies including 'This Means War', 'Struck By Lightning', 'What to Expect When You're Expecting' as well as 'Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb'.

'Pitch Perfect 3' is an upcoming musical comedy film to be directed by Elizabeth Banks. Its predecessor, released on May 2015, received generally positive reviews and became the highest grossing comedy film of all time after earning $287 million at the box office.
