Dominic, Letty, and the rest of the gang are set to return for Fast and Furious 8. New details have surfaced about the high end vehicles to be used in the sequel as well as an unfortunate event that took place in the set.

The long running franchise has prided itself with not only heart-stopping action but also its fast cars and elaborate car racing sequences. And for its eighth installment, Vine Report reported that Murcielagos and Subaru Imprezas are some of the models rumored to appear along with a Rally Fighter and several Ripshaw ATVs.

Several photos of military trucks, snorkels, and a golf cart being shipped to the set have also made their rounds online. According to Jobs N Hire, Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, and Michelle Rodriguez confirmed their return as Hobbs, Deckard Shaw, and Letty Ortiz, respectively. Kurt Russell's Mr. Nobody who was introduced in the previous film also confirmed his return.

Filming is set to take place in New York, as well as in Iceland where ATVs, the military vehicles and armored dodge trucks were spotted. According to TMZ, a sad event also occurred in the set when a horse named Jupiter died after an iceberg, which was a set piece that flew due to strong winds.

The horse was hit on the leg and eventually had to be euthanized. No other cast or crew members were injured in the incident which was considered to be a case of bad timing. Also, production assured that the horse and fence expenses are to be covered by the insurance.

Fast and Furious 8 is the beginning of a final trilogy after Furious 7 that will conclude the long running action franchise. It stars Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, and Lucas Black among many others. It is directed by F. Gary Gray and due to hit theaters on April 14, 2017.
